News $100,000 for culture and communications development For a second consecutive year, the Cré of the Haut-Saint-Laurent Valley is pleased to announce the opening of a call for proposals from May 1st to 25th, 2007 to promote technical development in culture and communications on its territory, which includes the MRC’s of Beauharnois-Salaberry, Haut-Saint-Laurent, Jardins-de-Napierville, Roussillon and Vaudreuil-Soulanges. This call is open to technical organizations in culture and communications, including succession organizations, municipalities, public sector organizations and native band councils residing in the Haut-Saint-Laurent Valley territory. All are invited to submit their proposals in one of the three sectors, that is; acknowledging and enhancing the status of culture, cultural manpower training or developing new formative, artistic and cultural initiatives. Proposals will be accepted at the latest Friday, May 25th, 2007 at 4:00 pm at the office of the Conseil montérégien de la culture et des communications (CMCC), at 305 St-Jean Street in Longueuil.
