The board of directors of the CRÉ of the Haut-Saint-Laurent Valley is made up of all the mayors of municipalities of more than 5,000 residents, the prefects of five (5) regional county municipalities (MRC) and seven (7) representatives of the social economy sector (non-trading company) that are appointed in the following manner: Youth representativeStatus of women representative Agri-food sector representative And a representative for each of the four (4) advisory committees of the CRÉ:Economy and science Education Culture, communications, heritage and tourism Health, social and environment. The provincial members of parliament of the territory and a representative from the ministry of Municipal affairs and Regions of Quebec also sit in as observers.
