Article 11 of the ministry of Economic and Regional development and Research (MDERR) law set up the Regional development fund (FDR). The FDR is the main fund of the CRÉ of the Haut-Saint-Laurent Valley which finances both the workings of the organization and regional development projects. This fund can also be used to finance measures established within the framework of specific agreements entered into between the regional conference of elected officials (CRÉ), a ministry or government agency and, if necessary, any other partner.
